SOUTHWEST GSMDC Welcome to the Southwest Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club's web site. Our club is comprised mainly of members living in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. Our main purpose is to promote the welfare of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. This includes educating the public on the pros and cons of being a Swissy owner, providing a rescue base, and supporting efforts focused on various health issues facing our breed. We also conduct various group activities for the enjoyment of the members and their Swissys. Our members are involved in showing, obedience, packing, drafting, weight pulling, herding, flyball, agility and therapy work. Check us out.
